Wind = Stale Bread

So today Logan, Lauren and I ate our lunch in their backyard. Logan being the stubborn eater that he is, took a long time to eat his sandwich. We had been out there about 25 minutes or so and he wanted his sandwich cut into bite sized pieces. The bread on his sandwich was all dried out! I couldn't believe how fast the wind had made it stale. It was craziness! I had a lovely mornng with them at the park. I really enjoy those kids. They remind me that in fact I do want to be a mother someday!

I know, I know....It's been a while.

It seems as though things have gotten really busy around here. Sadly, it doesn't feel like they are going to let up anytime soon. The next four weekends are pretty much booked. I hate that feeling. I mean I'm glad I have things to do, but I really enjoy just relaxing at home too. I guess the last weekend of the semester I will be at home, but I will need to devote substantial amounts of time to studying for finals. I can't wait for summer to come! It will be nice to just hang out here and not have to worry about school and have it hanging over my head. This weekend Jenny and I are going to learn to snowboard. I'm terrified to say the least. I've heard a fair amount of horrer stories. Helmets are a must! There are several bars at the ski resort we are going to so I suppose if it comes down to it I can just hang out and drink and really what wouldn't be fun about that! :) Not this weekend, but next, I am meeting my mom and Alan in Nebraska to hang out for my birthday. I'm very excited to see them! It will be a nice little road trip. I played flag football on Sunday and I am still sore today! I can definitely tell I'm out of shape and not used to being beat up anymore. The second team we played had some rugby players on it, which of course I got stuck blocking because everyone else was scared of them. It definitely made me want to play a little rugby. Like one game would be suffice. With all of my favorite players. That would be the best. Well I need to stop procrastinating and actually look into some homework. This next week is going to be crazy!
